Bath Area Floor, Vault & Trampet Boy's Championships
Having not entered a boy's competition before both gymnasts and coaches were unsure what to expect. However the two boys that represented The
Academy did their club, coach's, and parents proud by bringing home a fantastic 5 medals.
Under 8, A level competition One of the youngest competitors in the competition 6 year old Leo Paddock did a fantastic job wining gold and becoming the Trampet Champion. Leo also placed second on floor with a VERY tidy performance (Boys can point their toes!). These scores combined with Leos vault score ensured a place on the podium for a overall placing, one of the youngest and by far the smallest competitor of the day brought home the overall silver. Under 11, A Level competition In the under 11 section Aiman Wynn competed, proving yet again boys do point their toes he became both the Floor and the Trampet Champion. With an excellent vault Aiman was also crowned the overall Champion in a field of over 20 boys. |
